The BSP is committed to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of all our children. All members of staff are trained in child protection. We ensure successful candidates are police checked on appointment and that all staff will report concerns through our child protection policy.
Headmaster: Mr Nicholas Hammond is seeking to appoint for the Junior School a Special Needs Teaching Assistant from September 2025 onwards.
Temporary post - Full-time: 6 hours / day, term time only.
Applications are welcome from candidates who live locally to join our team as SEN Teaching Assistant (Special Educational Needs). This is to provide both in-class support and the possibility to work with small groups and/or individual pupils led by a teacher.
The successful candidate will demonstrate appropriate experience and/or a strong desire to work with special needs pupils aged 3 to 6. They will have native-level English, solid numeracy and literacy skills, and should be cheerful, energetic and patient. The successful candidate will also be a flexible person with sound teamwork skills.
We require an EU passport or valid work papers; we will need to take up two references and be provided with all relevant police checks.
