The BSP is committed to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of all our children. All members of staff are trained in child protection. We ensure successful candidates are police checked on appointment and that all staff will report concerns through our child protection policy.
Headmaster: Mr Nicholas Hammond is seeking to appoint Teaching Assistants for the Junior School (1 post) & for the Senior School (1 post) from mid-November onwards.
These are temporary posts (until the end of the School year) and working hours are from 9.00 am to 4.00 pm - term time only.
Applications are welcome from candidates who live locally to join our team of Teaching Assistants at the Junior School or at Senior School.
This is to provide both in-class support and possibility to work with small groups and/or individual pupils led by a teacher.
The successful candidates will demonstrate appropriate experience and/or a strong desire to work with young children at the JSC or with special needs pupils aged 11-18 at the SSC. They will have native-level English, solid numeracy, and literacy skills, and should be cheerful, energetic and patient. The successful candidate will also be a flexible person with sound teamwork skills.
We require an EU passport or current valid work permit. We will need to take up two references and be provided with all relevant police checks before appointment.
